Ventilation

Modern construction technologies in pursuit of energy efficiency have minimized the phenomenon of natural air inflow and outflow. But without the circulation of air masses, the flow of fresh air, the quality of life is significantly reduced, and the state of health worsens. Therefore, ventilation in a private house or apartment is one of the pressing issues that has to be solved in one way or another.

There are two approaches to ventilation of living quarters - to arrange ducts for natural air exchange or to install a system with forced air movement, which is provided by fans.

Natural ventilation is good because it does not depend on the availability of electricity, but the intensity of its work is influenced by weather factors. In some situations, it may not be sufficient. Forced air exchange, on the contrary, maintains stable parameters, but only if there is electricity. A universal solution is to combine both types, but the system must be well thought out.

If the hood is brought out through the wall

Residents of apartments in multi-storey buildings are often faced with the fact that smells from neighbors through ventilation ducts enter their premises. An unpleasant situation that the ventilation check valve will help to cope with. How it looks, how it is arranged and where to put it, and ...

It must be borne in mind that warm, exhaust air tends upward

Even at the design stage of the house, you need to think about the fresh air in the premises. Moreover, it may be that self-designed ventilation will work no worse than professionally designed. Perhaps the solution will not be so elegant - the main thing is that it is workable.

These are all diffusers

A properly functioning ventilation system is essential for well-being. One of the ventilation components is a ceiling diffuser. Through this device, air is drawn in and supplied.

The construction industry is considered one of the most actively developing. New technologies and materials are gradually replacing traditional ones. For example, plastic air ducts are increasingly used instead of metal ones.
